Our Historytsg was formed by the merger of Testing Solutions Limited (TSL) and Test Management Solutions (TMS) in April 2002. Both founding businesses had extensive experience in the field of testing and this has been strengthened by the merging of IE Testing Consultancy (IETC) and Solid Consulting into the group in 2004 and 2005 respectively. 
With a 25 year background in testing, Mike Smith formed TSG following a Management Buyout (MBO) of part of the business from Imago QA (IQA) in 1999. Mike was the original author of T-Plan, the leading Test Process Management product and built IQA from its inception to a workforce of 150 to offer flexible resourcing solutions for clients such as Goldman Sachs in the USA and UK, Bank of England, EWS, Northern Rock and numerous other clients in the UK, Europe and Australia.
TSG developed a strong testing education service and is now the largest provider of certification training in the UK. TSG continued to provide consulting and recruitment services to its large network of clients in the UK and Europe and in 2004, acquired IE Testing Consulting. The merger with IETC saw Isabel Evans’ organisation add significant strength and capability in the provision of advisory consultancy services both for problem projects and strategic improvement initiatives, as well as the adoption of the EFQM Excellence Framework and ETVX processes method. More recently, TSG entered a joint venture with IMC in Germany to launch a 'SCORM' compliant learning management system, branded as Learntesting. Learntesting now provides the framework and international support mechanism for TSG ’s acclaimed ISEB ISTQB programme and other courses.
